Xuanyuan Jin’s handsome little face was rigid, his thin lips pressed tightly together.

He stared at Xiao Tang Bao’s smug little expression—so full of attitude—and wanted to argue back, but couldn’t find a single word.
He wanted to rage and have the kid chopped into pieces, but that would just be admitting defeat.

No choice. Though he’d never admit it out loud, deep down, he secretly agreed with Xiao Tang Bao’s nonsense.

Her point? A great horse deserved a name that truly reflected its uniqueness.
“Hong Hong” perfectly captured the distinctiveness of the big black stallion.
Meanwhile, “Hei Feng”? Too generic. Too boring.

But Xiao Tang Bao didn’t seem to notice Xuanyuan Jin’s flustered state. She tilted her head, her tiny mouth opening and closing like a little bird, then fired off her final accusation:

“Lan dao li bu shidao ma… Lan fan hei se de ma… Lou si Hei Feng, Hei Yun, Ji Feng…”
Don’t you know? Any black horse is always called Hei Feng, Hei Yun, Ji Feng—just *always*!

Xuanyuan Jin snapped: “Impertinent! You insolent little peasant—how dare you question me?! Wang Zhong, throw this brat out!”

His delicate face flushed crimson, eyes blazing with fury as if flames were about to shoot straight from them and burn Xiao Tang Bao to ashes.

Could she be scared?

Absolutely not.

Who are you? What title do you have?
When a tantrum-throwing brat gets mad, you’ve got to teach them a lesson—hard.

“Old man Cheng Lu, shyness-shyness-shyness…”
Furious. Embarrassed. Shy-shy-shy!

Xiao Tang Bao stuck out her chubby little paw, gently swiping across her rosy cheeks in a mockingly bashful gesture—mimicking Xuanyuan Jin himself.

She wasn’t afraid. Not one bit.
She’d show him how much he could handle.
Let him explode!

Xuanyuan Jin: “….”

His anger had turned almost physical.
A tiny bean sprout of a girl had just mocked him? Unthinkable.
This was beyond tolerance.

“You—big—cough cough!”
Xuanyuan Jin’s face turned purple, his breath catching in his throat as he started coughing violently.

Wang Zhong jumped in alarm.
“Master! Are you alright?”
He rushed over, helping the young master sit on the steps, patting his back to ease the fit.

Xiao Tang Bao watched Xuanyuan Jin’s faintly bluish complexion, frowning slightly.
*Okay, I’m keeping my distance from this kid from now on. No way I’m getting blamed for this.*

“Alright, Li Ye, no more fuss. Here—eat some fruit.”
There, calm down. Eat something sweet.

She reached into her little pocket, pulled out a small red berry, and without hesitation shoved it straight into Xuanyuan Jin’s mouth.

He tried to spit it out—
“Don’t!” Xiao Tang Bao snapped.
In her panic, she even managed to spit out two clear words.

Wang Zhong’s eyes went wide.
He hadn’t misread it.
He *hadn’t*.

It was a **Zhu Guo**—a true Zhu Guo.

The legendary red fruit.
Only this rare fruit could soothe the illness plaguing his master.
They’d searched the entire country, and still only found a handful.

And now—here it was. In the hands of this little girl.

Wang Zhong froze. His heart pounded.

“Master! Quick—eat it!”
He didn’t care about punishment for overstepping—he grabbed Xuanyuan Jin’s throat, forcing the fruit down.

A cool, refreshing rush flooded from his mouth all the way down his throat. The burning in his chest eased instantly. The violent coughing finally stopped.

Wang Zhong wiped sweat from his brow, shaken to the core.

Xuanyuan Jin glared daggers at Xiao Tang Bao.
“Who gave you permission to shove things into my mouth?!”

“Dog bite… not four heart!” Xiao Tang Bao lifted her chin proudly, giving him a look that said, *You’re such a thankless beast.*

Hmph! Dog bites Lü Dongbin—doesn’t recognize kindness!

Xuanyuan Jin: “….”

“Hmph! Ungrateful beast,” Xiao Tang Bao sniffed, wrinkling her nose cutely, then added with a proud little huff, “Just wait and see.”
